Do you love Rice Krispie Squares? Haven't you ever thought that they needed a kick? Well I did and that's how the Mars Bars Squares came to life in my kitchen.
Ingredients
- 8 Mars Bars Squares
- 2 Sticks of Butter
- 6 TBS of Honey
- 8 Cups of Rice Krispies
- 1 Package of Milk Chocolate Chips
Directions
FOR THE BASE:
- MELT the butter, Mars bars, and honey in a pot on the stove (medium/low heat)
- STIR until the ingredients are melted and combined
- TURN OFF the stove
- STIR in Rice Krispies
- POUR into a 8x13" Pyrex pan and flatten until evenly distributed
FOR THE TOPPING:
- BOIL a small pot of water on the stove
- PLACE a glass bowl on top
- ADD the chocolate chips into the bowl
- STIR until completely melted
- Pour over the Rice Krispies and smooth out
Place the Pyrex in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to cool. Take it out a few hours before you wish to cut and serve.
Recipe Note: You can half the recipe and use an 8x8" Pyrex Pan instead
